A whale of a woman on a bed
Mouth agape, not breathing
Her face begins to change colors
Then she realizes that her own chest is hurting.
She recognizes the face she is staring at. It is hers.
She yells at the body to breathe, that death is not an option
The body doesn’t want it anymore
It doesn’t want to breathe, its done
Her chest begins to feel heavier but she’s able to jump into the body
She felt herself die
Heart starts to beat slow
Pain worsens
She feels her legs and arms lock
She tries to get up
Can’t die
Can’t die
She wakes up gasping for air
Bed shakes from her crashing back into the body
She realizes that she is alive
A melancholy happiness spreads through her mind
Almost free but this beauty would be missed
Staring at the blue sky outside her windows
Trying to ignore the machines necessary to help her breath
She couldn’t kill herself with poison
She couldn’t kill herself with pills
She was afraid of missing with a gun
Food heals and slowly kills in excess
She moves her arm to call the nurse
Sponge time
